SILVER CROSS - MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT

Founded in Britain in 1877, Silver Cross is one of the world's leading premium global nursery brands. Loved and trusted by millions of parents worldwide, we are dedicated to giving babies the best start in life. In 2017 we added the "Micralite" brand, which provides high performance strollers and accessories, to the Silver Cross family. Together we are passionately committed to ensuring our entire supply chain reflects our Silver Cross Ethical Manufacturing Code of Conduct ("Code"). This Code draws upon internationally recognised standards, in order to advance social and environmental responsibility and ensure our Supplier facilities are safe and fair places to work.

Our staff visit our UK and international manufacturers on a regular basis to offer them support and guidance and ensure that our partners look after the social wellbeing of their employees. Our management team regularly visit our partners and undertake audits to check that our ethical policies are complied with. Our audits cover a range of areas such as health and safety, working conditions, onsite accommodation and general facilities. We work with our partners to take all necessary steps to ensure that they are compliant with our policies. We take pride in knowing that our ethical and social standards are being strictly maintained.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our slavery and human trafficking statement for the financial year ending 31st December 2020.

This statement has been approved by the board of Plata Cross (UK) Limited on 9 June 2020 on behalf of the Silver Cross group of companies, incorporating Silver Cross (UK) Limited, Silver Cross (Pacific) Limited, Silver Cross (IP) Limited, Silver Cross Nurseries Limited, Micralite Limited, Micralite Holdings Limited and Micralite (IP) Limited.
